Mother Starter
So far, so good. Picture 1 shows the seed culture mixed with the ingredients to make the mother
starter. Picture 2 is after it's mixed, rested, and shaped into a ball to rise. And picture 3 shows it more than doulbled in size. I then degassed it, shaped it back into a ball. It's now in the refrigerator, and is ready to make sourdough bread in a few hours. Only a portion of the mother starter will be used. I can then feed it, and keep it living for as long as I choose.
